slowly feeling like home now :)

I woke up a little earlier than usual today - to tag along PP to the flower markets. I'm so glad she's obsessed with peonies as much as I do. I hardly buy them back in Ade - simply because a bunch would usually cost me no less than $60. I had the "sifu" with me this time, of course she had to introduce me to the right place to shop - straight from the wholesaler ! I got a bunch of them for just $15, how amazing was that?!

some flower arrangements ended up doing. PP took lessons on this, so she gave me a tip or two in creating the right "volume" and "building" my arrangements. oh it was so fun. all these just reminds me of Lils - the sweet young lady I befriended back in Ade, her shop was my most favourite to go to - Lilli Anthus. if you're ever in SA and want some nice, elegant, classy arrangements of the best flowers, she's your person.

anyway - exhibit A.

exhibit B -

fruitful morning I would say. I then was home the whole day, did some chores, sorted our pest control issue. it rained the whole day which was a bummer. we were really looking forward to take hamza out for some fun in the sun. that didn't happen. I'm not sure if tomorrow will be the same either. its just a waste spending the weekends at home I feel.

I've cooked a few meals since we moved in. getting my groove back in the kitchen. alhamdulillah its such an amazing feeling to be able to be doing all this. and then my pregnant self gets reminded how heavily pregnant I am - the tiredness after everything is a whole different story hahahaha. alhamdulillah still.

well - you know home is almost ready now that we've got flowers in :)

I just cannot wait to have our family over and then it all would be perfect in Shaa Allah !

its looking like it'll be a nasi lemak bungkus day tomorrow - now thats something to look forward to. hopefully we get some sun so we could be beachin' it tomz! we'll see !!

xx
