Om nom nom!

Lunch in his jammies today because, why not?! Heheh.. He was so happy when he saw food infront of him and went straight into smashing and licking his fingers. He didnt eat much of the carrots and barely touched the banana though, but i guess he'll get there soon.

I love seeing him explore with his eyes and fingers. He smashed and pressed the boiled egg into his fingers, studying them very deeply and then shifts his thoughts away to the outside world. I had my blinds open, so he could see our backyard. It was pretty gloomy this morning when we woke up, the sun however is slowly creeping out making way to some shine today. 

I've got a pile of laundry to do. Plus hamza's extra dirty laundry since he started his baby led weaning journey. It requires constant supervision so to any mummies out there wanting to try on your bubs, keep your eyes on them. Its just amazing seeing how they learn, and to also be cautious.

Our friend's paediatrician mentioned on how important it is to have them chewing food even using their gums. It helps with them talking alot quicker when they use their muscles for chewing down food. Oh Hamza you are soooo spoilt with attention! I hope you turn out a good muslim to Allah, your parents, your family and the whole ummah!
