everything on the go;

Confinement was an interesting experience for me. For some weird reason I only had massages and food restriction in mind. I was def looking forward to the massages. The whole part of being ' confined ' totally slipped my mind. Of course I almost went crazy, 40 days being at home with no where to go. Just practically 'resting' ( read: potato couch-ing my days ) throughout the 40 day period. Not to mention with all the soreness of every muscle in my body while having to attend to Hamza's constant need of milk.

I couldn't have done it without mom around. I had tok mak and mom all the way from day 1 post birth. And switching of duties between aunts after 2 weeks. Dad was around even before giving birth. Come to think of it, I had all the support in the world, and boy was I blessed to always have someone looking after the house, cooking, cleaning for me.

So many times I had the urge to just grab the ipad and jot down my boredom away. I couldn't bring myself to do it. I'd probably babble about the different menus I had for 40 days ( yum ). Ok to be honest I was hooked to a korean series - that kept me busy. 56 episodes, an hour each. Thats 56 hours of my life wasted in front of the screen. lol

Surely i could have easily finished a number of books. The thing about tok mak's confinement rules is that, i wasn't allowed to sleep during the day. I had to keep awake - and sleep during the night. ( obviously a challenge, because clearly - Hamza loves sleeping through the night, hm ). Imagine how reading would actually help me during confinement. heh
I was, however, allowed to eat what ever I wanted. It must be served hot though. Nothing cold was to be eaten. Ice cream, iced drinks were a no-no. Okay so maybe not everything I wanted.

Enough of confinement talks - i've officially, finally graduated from the Univeristy of Confinement, and am now a free momma !

What i wanted to initially write about, was how these days, going out is not as easy as it used to be ( duh ). My handbag is filled with diapers, milk bottles and nappy wipes. I still don't know how to assemble our pram. Which is why i resulted to baby wearing most of the time. Also, because i love the fact that i've got both of my arms free not having to push the pram here and there.

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand i have to go now cos Hamza needs a feed for the 1038638495449591th time today.

Oh Lord i need to get my tempo right if i want to keep this whole writing up.

byeeeeeeeeeeeee
