Easter break has been pretty alright for now. 3 days down, and another a week and a half to go. My laptop decided to give me problems a few weeks back. It demanded for a new hard drive which cost me a bomb. Thank you, very much, now I've officially gone overboard on my spending for the month of April. Which reminds me how much I miss Malaysia sometimes, all these fixing would cost me only little, compared to what they charged me here.

So Cik Salmah, makan maggi je lah awak bulan ni yea ?

We had Encik Ro over, a good friend whom I call 'Datuk'. We go way back during our pre-university days, killing time at our usual hot spot ' bawah payung' eating nasi lemak bungkus and having random conversations just about everything under the sun. He had some things that needed to be done in Adelaide, but managed to squeeze in time for dinner for two nights in a row and a tour around the university.

We took him to Bracegirdle's. One of Adelaide's most fine chocolate shop. Their hot chocolates are to die for. Creamy and sweet, the kinds you just crave for every month, not everyday, I hope. Its sweet, its rich, its just out of the world.

We had Nandos by the beach. Bumped into a few friends and realized again and again how insanely small the world is. Everyone just happens to know everyone someway or another.

And of course, what keeps us all connected. AND glued to facebook, ahem. The classic mobile picture capture.

You see, in Adelaide, it is highly important to know the existence of these golden pigs. They're so popular that once you mention pigs at the city, people will know exactly what you're talking about. It is also, a must, to have a picture with at least one of them.

Kira, kalau tak ambik gambar dengan babi-babi ni memang tak yah cakap la kau penah datang Adelaide. Babi ni popular gila kot.

Like today, a few Melbourner's decided to meet up with us - friends of Datuk. Being from Melbourne, of course, they didn't know their way around much, most of them were like Datuk, spending their easter holidays travelling to Adelaide, some for work, most just for fun.

" Aku dah dekat Rundle ni kau kat mana ? "
- " Kat babi- babi ni, "
" Oh okay kau tunggu jap lagi aku sampai "

See what I mean? Famous I tell you.
Sebut je babi, confirm tau location.

Thats pretty much it. There are a lot more places to explore around Adelaide, and I'm loving life here. So quiet and relaxed, though sometimes it gets a little too quiet for both Bubu and I, but we manage.

So yeah, now its just back to the life of Cik Salmah and Pah Bedah.

ex oh ex oh.
