Remember when I used to sit on your lap for the fun of it during break time? How we used to hold hands while walking down the school corridors, accompany each other to the restroom because we needed the walking, hogged the class 'pass' tag so no one else could use it. Those were the days.You were the friend that saw me through my ups and downs. My tears, my laughters, my joy and my sad times, you were always there no matter what. We used to sit down by our school's staircase and just talk on things, life, friends, future and look at where we are now. Those years have long gone but we're very much closer than before, despite the distance, despite the changes that took place, you and me, we are always one.
So this year, you asked for 'change' and sayang, CHANGE is what you got :P. So you see, I hope you know to be very careful of what you wish for next time. So for the first time ever, you're birthday morning is spent in class ( I hope you're in class as I'm typing if not Hana and I will come get you for skipping it ) but I know you'll have fun because you're always surrounded with great friends there too. We've got big plans for you baby girl, big big plans.
Thank you sayang, for always tolerating with me. My fickle-mindedness, my temper, my mood swings you know it all. The only girl who knows me inside out, upside down. From stinky old school uniforms through stupid high heels and converse shoes, photoshoots, dinners, dramas, hands down, we went through it all with open arms, and countered every obstacle with our honesty and love.
Thank you, again for reminding me why I never needed a sister, and that having you is more than enough to face the world.
