Catching up with G has always been nice. Work definitely got both of us on our toes most of the time, but its always nice to know theres this constancy of a friend to look forward to every month, our after work catch up sesh is one of the things i look forward to.

Today we looked back, two years down, i'm nearing my second year of working at dish and it has been an amazing journey so far. Blessed with the opportunity to even be exposed to this side of the world, to be part of the workforce, and learning things as i go. Certainly, we have our good and bad days, days where i literally have to drag myself to work and days of joy. And although it has been a love-hate relationship, surely, nothing beats being home. I've long wanted to really know what it feels like to have a husband to live with or to come home to.

G reminds me of home. She reminds me of what hard work felt like. Being able to stay behind and make our own paths in a foreign environment, sometimes, having each other gives comfort to both of us, knowing we made it, this far, our own way, in our own time.

We babbled about life, while chomping down on some vege dishes and prawns. Talked about tough lessons learnt, what we aim to be and plans on becoming better.

Today was a scorching 37dgrees, and i thank God for air conditioners at the office, i decided to walk home after our early dinner, just to let my memory run through freely. Really, has it already been 2 years?

What a flyby. This whole life, the roller coaster rides, the waves of emotions i once went through, gone just like that within months, years.

Just,wow.
