supplication;

what good is a heart if it doesn't recognize its own beats?

what good are our intentions if it doesn't lead to the right path?

what good our faith if it is left unpracticed, untested?

we say we want simplicity in life, yet we strive and yearn for things we know we can live without.

we say that Islam is simple, it does not burden, yet we pack it with requirements of the norms and cultural expectations.

we say we trust Allah in granting us rezq, yet we are afraid to put a stop to that important potential investor meeting when the adhan calls for prayer.

we say we want Jannah, yet we fear of being tested.

may Allah grant us understanding in the things we find hard to comprehend. in intentions, we find difficult to put through, in actions we find complicated to interpret.

the idea now, is to seek hikmah towards what is taking place.

" and it may be that you dislike something, which is good for you,
and that you like a thing, which is bad for you,
Allah knows but you do not, " ( Al - Baqarah 2:216 )

and the only one consolation i have through out this whole situation is that i trust that Allahu Al-Alim ( the All Knower) knows what is best for the situation. and that when he allows a thing to happen, even the strongest of storms, the powerful of earthquakes, the tedious complications of men can't stop it.

i need to strengthen and keep clear of my niyyah, if not fix and align them towards what i aim in this dunya.
