what its like.

so this is what its like.

basically. i wake up in the morning. take a shower, tidy up my bed and pack for uni. my time management skills needs a lot of improvement. hence packing for uni always involves throwing a lot of stuffs in my bag. be it a necessary item or non-necessary. i usually get to spend not more than 2 minutes packing before storming out of the house to catch the bus.

i have to say, the wisest best investment i've done so far in Adelaide, is getting myself this country road tote bag. i can basically throw everything in. being a commerce student, its no surprise how thick our books can be. i swear our financial handbook weighs close to 3 kilos. carrying that around is no joke. the textbook that is complementary to it weighs almost the same. thats basically 6kgs of carriage i have to carry to class. mind you, im just talking about one subject. its no fun when going to uni involves a LOT of walking.

oh how lovely would life be if the maximum amount of subjects we need to have in a day is just uno. not for me.

i come home either with a sprained back, or imbalanced shoulders. ah not to forget, stunt growth.

i used the word best because, of course, the satisfaction i get purchasing the tote bag over weighs the pain i have to go through some days. well actually, just one day in a week.

remind me to get myself a bag pack when i get back home in Malaysia for my convenience on 'heavy book' days.

this is what it rarely looks like. on days that i feel like studying. laptop is on the bed to get the music playing. it can not, i repeat, can NOT be on the study table at the same time while studying. i don't know about you but its hard to resist, this piece of technology is wicked in its own ways. there is always temptation to click on just about anything.
this , was at our usual lepak place at uni. the hub. specially for business students. you cant see it in the picture , but hanging on the right side of the wall is a big flat screen LCD for entertainment purposes. i watched Oprah once for a straight hour while on break time. most of the time the screen is just left talking to itself while i busied myself with other things like on the day (below), filing. the end of semester nearing, and i finally made myself to sort out all my notes.

i love my blackberry, i really do. but right now its being a pain. my track ball is spoiled. and whats a blackberry without its track ball ? just like having a remote control without a television. dysfunctional. all i can do now is press all buttons wishing one of it would do a miracle and get me to the icon i want. getting this fixed here would cost me a minimum of 90 dollars, andddd converting that to malaysian ringgit ? man, i dont even want to know.

and this was in the library. after completing management accounting assignment. the internet at uni is just love.

so i told you about the lepak place right ? well, here's the entrance to the hub. i love spending time here than in the library simply because of the conducive entertainment studying environment it provides. really. the ones that had flat screens and all that jazz was the new learning hub section. the old one was just as nice, minus the flat screens, of course.

you seee. it was already closed by the time we walked out of the library. i just figured dad would like to see this. i think its kinda cool.

and so i end my day with tumblr, and that little white creature next to me.

well , this is what its like. of course, there is more to this than just what i showed. but, i figured this place needed some pictures of life in adelaide.
