So we decided to tag along with a few friends to discover Adelaide. Classes will only start next Monday, means, we still have a few days to get lost around the area, to try and be smart and probably discover shortcuts to uni.
Yesterday was fun. And tiring. Lamb kebab never tasted so good. That was the highlight of my day. Ah yes, and the hot chocolate. It was unusually windy. My cousin Tom, brought us to the Fringe Festival, which I think was just beyond amazing. Its nothing like the festivals we have back home of course, but having a crowd enjoying themselves with shows and acts, music, or just sitting around in parks with friends, in that beautiful weather we had last night, was just perfect. I'm pretty sentimental with things, I love seeing trees decorated with pretty lights.
They even had like a mini flee market, there were two stores that caught my eyes. Ones which sold the Thai pants which I'm a sucker for. I only have one pair by the way, courtesy of a climber friend :). And another hippie-like store, which sold those bob marley- rasta items, if thats the right word for it. Tom said the store that we walked into had marijuana nearby. Somehow he could smell it while browsing through the section. Beats me. I never knew that funny smell was the smell of marijuana. I laughed out loud when he told me that. I never knew I'd be that close to those stupid things. But anyway.
We now roughly know our way around. After a few mistaken bus trips and wrong turns, I think we've pretty much figured it out.
The look out point was amazing. It was so windy, I swear I almost got blown away down the hill by the strong wind. I almost died of shivering on the top. But it was bee-you-tee-fool. Just, breath taking.
That pretty much sums it all. For now, everything is okay.
