When I have things to look forward to, I become happy.

This was earlier today. As I was killing my one hour before my next lecture. Behind me, is John Mraz. Brother to Jason Mraz.

I'm just playin.


Anyhow, esok dah start tarawih. How awesome is that? Alhamdulillah, dikurniakan Allah umur yang panjang untuk bertemu kembali dengan bulan yang penuh keberkatan, bulan Ramadhan. Tak sabar rasanya nak berbuka puasa with the family, makan sama2, solat jemaah sama2, berimamkan my beloved daddy :). Not that we don't usually eat dinner together and pray together, but i think its simply being in the month of Ramadhan itself, that makes it different.

I must say my family and I are very close-knit. John Lemon selalu terkesima bila pertanyaannya dijawab dengan, " out with my family, for a drink ". We do that a lot. Hang out. Despite of my parents busy schedule, I appreciate the fact that there's always time for us ( kids ) to just hang out, for a quick teh-tarik or roti canai session and just talk on things. I've become accustomed to this habit since I was very young, and I really think one should not be embarassed by this fact of hanging out with family more than friends. Cool apa, especially when your mom starts saying the slang word ' dohh' that youngsters commonly use nowadays while brushing her teeth.

" Buat apa-DOH " ha ha. Of course, her way of saying this has some sort of a British 'twang' to it.

Just now, dad announced,

' Okay! I have a meeting at 9:30pm tonight at Chawan, who wants to follow?'

Silap lah tanya kami ( adik beradik ) soalan macam tu. Semua pun berlari tukar baju cepat2, bawa buku dan laptop, terus lari masuk kereta. Macam kita pulak yang sibuk nak pergi meeting. Padahal Daddy je pun. Mummy pun sama, ikut je. Daddy meeting table lain, kami buat hal sendiri di meja lain. Bual punya bual, kerja pun tak siap.

Ah well, point of entry sebenarnya, nak wish everyone Selamat Menyambut Bulan Ramadhan, Selamat Berpuasa, Selamat Bersahur, Selamat menunaikan Ibadah Wajib dan Sunnah dengan jayanya dan penuh Istiqamah, Selamat Beriftar dan yang sewaktu dengannya lah. Moga Ramadhan tahun ini, lebih elok dari Ramadhan yang lepas, dan moga sentiasa berada di dalam penjagaanNya. Ameen, inshaAllah.

The best part of my day was when out of random, a person said to me, 'everything is going to be okay, im positive about it, you should be too'. Now sometimes people tend to forget on how easy it is to lift another's spirit. You may never know what you could be doing, how the littlest and simplest of words could make another's world turn around again. Amazing. Simply, amazing.
