Of tutorials and mighty huge lecture halls,

I love my schedule. Its incredibly awesome how we get to choose our tutorial time rather than having to settle with a fixed and common time table for all. Its university, i thought. Things are handled differently. Way differently than college or high school. You're expected to grow up. Be responsible, and manage time well, even if you dont want to.

I have a few gaps in between classes which is great. I cant imagine having 3 classes straight, and yes, my attention span is still as short as your ice cream stick. I read on the internet yesterday that scribbling/doodling increases your memory. I write notes during lectures, regardless of having the printed lecture notes, i still write down my own notes to avoid sleepyness and daydreaming. Ah yes im really good at both, got away with it during alevels, hell no am i going to screw up my degree.

I was walking with fash today after our tutorial ended, and Slm caught us along the way and coincidently was heading to the library as well. He was asking Fash and i , alternately, on our law assignment, and like always, my head was in space the whole time during the conversation , until Slm snapped ,

-" Are you always like this? "
   " Like what?"
  - " Like this, you're not even walking with us, you're infront of us, "
   " And the problem? "
  -  " Well, i'm guessing you're used to walking alone, "
   "  What? "
  - " Im just saying. You independent girls just do that. You walk ahead of people. Like leading."
" And you have a problem with that? "
  - " Nah, im just saying. You're like this leader. And im the follower,"

   I stopped walking.

    " Okay. You lead. "

And we laughed. He said back in his country, the women were not allowed to drive. And i thought that only existed last century. Then we went on our seperate ways.

Its amazing how im exposed to the international students. Culture diversion, multi languages  being thrown to my ears from left and right, different people, different colours, everything is just different. Hell yea it scares me at times, trying very hard to grip to the new perspective of life itself, now this is where the saying, " change is the only valid constant, " fits just right. I got that from an online friend, Mia.

Assignments are piling up. I dont even know where to start. I have a lot of filing to do. And a number of tutorial questions to solve.

Did i tell you that we have an 'online' weekly test?. It requires us to do a test online every week, and it has no specific duration time, meaning, i can do one question and go take a shower and then continue the second question, which is awesome. Its an open-book-online-test? Duh. I can access to the website anywhere 'accesible', my laptop at home, the library, wherever. Anddd, i can do the tests with the help of friends ( my walking books ) as well. It carries 10% of our final marks. 13 weeks of semester one altogether, all test results will be taken. - COOL.

  The risk?

If i suddenly forget to do the online test for the week. There goes my 10%.

  Enough on classes.

MY BFF GOT TIX TO JASON MRAZ!!!
  - okay, im slightly teeny weeny bit jealous. uberr awesomeeee!

But even if i had tickets, i dont think dad would let me :).
And for the fact that both of them are awayyy..

I go for dates with them around . We'll be at the same restaurant, but they'll be sitting at a different table, and 'yours truly' and i will be at another. I used to find this embarassing, but i think now i understand why. :)

I miss the king and queen and it hasnt even been a day yet :(

I find that very very very very appealing.

I meant dating with parents around but not at the same table. Well, not with parents on both sides at the same place that is. It's a sort of reassurance that everything's alright and well, if you forgot to bring your wallet (LAME!) you'll always be able to get them to foot the bill!

Not that my parents have ever been present when I go dating :)

BTW, what's a subelyph?
