one last time;
Todays short trip up to genting was pleasant. I wasnt feeling that well, but for Tika, I tagged along.
Genting was very much like how I last saw it years back. Nothing much has changed, except for the weather though. I still think it is less colder than before. Probably due to global warming thats been around for sometime. But all in all, it was alright. To see the smile on Tika's face felt great and satisfying. The first thing she told me when we first met was,
" Tika pinginnn sangat mau ke genting.! Ngak tau lagi kapan mau ke sini lagi, makanya, pinginn benar ke genting! ayuh ke genting yuk! "
I laughed upon hearing this. She's 21, and she sounded like a 7 year old kid. I told my king on her request, and he gave an instant yes.
Truth be told, I've been wanting to go there myself, but have very much been in my delay gratification mode. It wasnt as important as finishing work ( back then ) and now, with this degree to get. 'No hanky panky(s)' said the parents. Learned my lesson very much. Ive seen and know a number of youngsters these days who abuse the trust of parents and waste scholarship money and valuable time because of unnecessary and secret agendas. Now look what happened to them. If everyone is worried with the economy's sky rocketing number of retrenchment that has been happening, we should also feel very much worried with the number of termination of students here in Malaysia. Na'uzubillah. May Allah always protect me from those distractions, amin :)
But if Bo was around, and if i had a choice to do skytrex or genting with him and tika, I'd definitely choose skytrex! Hohoho.
2 days of being a tourist guide, i realized how i know very little of my country. Ashamed i am. I hope to be able to redeem myself in future with the camps/hikings i have in plan for my coming holidays! :D
